COVID-19 Precautions

COVID-19 Precautions and Procedures

Employee Operating Procedures

We are incredibly excited to be able to re-open our salon in Ohio and our Santa Barbara Salon on 10/13.  As I'm sure all of you are aware, though, there will be some changes in how we operate.  Because of the ongoing COVID-19 virus, we will be taking every precaution necessary to ensure that we are protecting our employees and you, our clients, from any possible risk of exposure.

Peaches will be operating under the following guidelines...

The salon coordinator will ensure a minimum of 6 feet between each person in the salon; this includes Peaches employees

Social distancing will apply with exception that the distance between the client and employee may be less than six feet

All clients, patrons, visitors, contractors, vendors and similar individuals are to use facial coverings, except for specifically documented legal, life, health or safety considerations and limited documented security considerations and when receiving a service. Documents verifying the condition/consideration must be presented if asked for

All employees are required to stay home if symptomatic

Require regular handwashing by employees – after each client and before each appointment

Hand Sanitizers will be placed in all client rooms and at the front desk

All high touch items will be cleaned after each use

Gloves will be worn throughout the entire facial and will be changed out whenever the esthetician leaves the treatment room

Single use materials will be disposed of immediately after use within the salon

Temperatures will be taken daily of all employees prior to the start of the work day

Any and all employee symptoms will be reported to management

Face shields will be worn with masks during all facials and are to be sanitized with disinfectant after each client

Sheets are to be washed and a new pair is to be put on after each client

Hands are to be washed whenever the esthetician leaves the treatment room

Hands are to be sanitized in front of the client before putting on gloves

All equipment in the treatment room will be sanitized after each appointment:

Dermabrasion machine

Microcurrent machine/gloves

All product bottles

Chair including top sheet and regular sheets

Scheduling procedures:

All appointments are to have an additional 15 minutes added to the slot to ensure the employee has enough time to clean after each client.

Client Procedures

Client procedures upon entry into throughout every Peaches Skin Care location:

Ensure minimum 6 feet between each person in the salon and no more than 5 clients will be permitted in the salon at any point in time.

Social distancing will apply with exception that the distance between the client and employee may be less than six feet

Hand Sanitizers will be available in all rooms in the salon for client use

All clients are asked not to enter if symptomatic and will be temperature checked and screened prior to entry

Only clients will be allowed in the establishment for their service; unless that client must be accompanied by a caregiver

Clients will be asked to wash their hands or sanitize immediately upon entry to the building

Children will be not be allowed to accompany a parent if that parent has a service

Physical Spaces

All physical spaces within the salon will be operating under the following procedures:

The front desk associate will be handling all product purchases; clients are asked to not pick up their own products for the time being.

Chairs and equipment will be cleaned before and after each use

Magazines and other non-essential items in the waiting area that cannot be disinfected will be discarded for the time being

All transactions will be asked to use apple pay, android pay, credit, debit, or paypal as a form of payment

All food and beverage options are, unfortunately, not allowed to be served at this time. We will re-implement this when we are able, but due to the restrictions outlined by the state this is not within our scope of operation at the moment.

Please Be Patient With Us

We will be working diligently to make sure that everything is sanitized and properly cleaned before each and every appointment.  Our estheticians are all trained to handle blood and pathogens as part of their cosmetology license, but we are taking everything to the next level, as you can see above, to make sure you are comfortable and safe in our salons.

All of our employees will be taking WHO and CDC certified courses on hand hygiene, sterilization techniques, and waste management as an added step of knowledge and protection.

Above all, we want you to know that you are entering a salon that already did many of these things that are now required by the CDC!  We haven't had to adapt much because of how much of this was already being done in our salons.  Peaches has always been a pristine place, but now that it's even more important we are stepping our game up.

Make your appointments today knowing that you will be safer with us than nearly anywhere else you can go.
